ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST

Uprise Design + Drafting Inc. is a boutique residential design firm in Lake Country, BC. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our team as our Receptionist /Administrative Assistant. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated with exceptional customer service skills, able to multi-task and have an attention to detail. The following are some of the expected tasks, but not limited to:

RECEPTION DUTIES:

  • Answering incoming calls with professionalism and confidence

  • Able to learn about all aspects of the design business to talk with potential clients and answer their general questions

  • Greeting clients who come into the office and offer them a beverage

  • Keeping office clean and organized

 

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT DUTIES:

  • Manage project scheduling and timelines

  • Scheduling meetings

  • Create and manage marketing and social media sites

  • Create proposals and invoices for clients

  • Set up new client’s project folder

  • Communicate with clients the progress and status of their project

  • Interact with each team member to keep an up-to-date status of projects

  • Provide each team member’s hours + payroll information to bookkeeper

  • Filing mail, paying specific invoices, and organizing receipts

  • Must be able to use Google Docs/Sheets and Pages

  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

  • Education in Business Administration is a must

  • Receptionist/Administrative Experience: min. 2 years

  • Customer Service Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
